Description
All mourning is the fruit of wounded love. Healing our open wounds means working through mourning in a positive way. It is a challenge, it is the way to live happily, not to survive. To actively and effectively accompany the mourning process with a healthy relationship of help is a wisdom and an art, a sublime expression of human solidarity and compassion, a testimony of a mature faith and a full sense of ecclesial communion. Let us not forget that those who are grieving need light, colour, relief, listening, accompaniment, meaning and faith. These pages aim to provide support for relationships of help for all types of mourning, but will focus, preferably, on the death of a loved one. It also aims to provide information and training for the coordinators of mutual aid groups, for pastoral workers for mourners and for those who, in the attitude of the Good Samaritan, want to qualitatively approach those whose existence is in jeopardy due to suffering.
