Rerum Novarum, the social encyclical of Leo XIII

Who we are

INTERNATIONAL EDITORIAL GROUP

It is a Catholic multimedia publishing house, whose objectives are framed within the universal and local Church. Its publications aim to illuminate all realities with Christian values and collaborate in formation, through books, newspapers, magazines, music, multimedia, minimedia, audiovisuals, study centers, training, radio programs and the Internet.

SAN PABLO belongs to the SOCIETY OF SAN PABLO, a religious congregation founded in Alba (Italy) in 1914 by Blessed James Alberione, with the aim of evangelizing through the media. It is present in 32 countries with a diversified publishing group.

The fundamental task of SAN PABLO is to bring the Good News to a society that lives in constant change and a unique moment in history, in which values are questioned and replaced by paths that lead society to materialism and individualism.

SAN PABLO has as a preferential option: “Humanize society, defending and promoting the dignity of men and women in all its dimensions.”

THE SYMBOL AND ITS MEANING

The figure of the mark intertwines the two dimensions of the Pauline mission: one, to serve the Word of God, and the other, to help men learn to rediscover the truth hidden at the heart of events. It is also an allusion to the penetrating power of the Word, capable of discerning truth from falsehood, justice from injustice, good from evil and beauty from ugliness.

In the brand we can also see the initials of Paul, like a letter “P”, expressing the universalism of the apostle and of Blessed James Alberione, which is made real especially in the selection of the content (speaking about everything in a Christian way) and in the choice of recipients (all men, beginning with those who are distant, the poor and the marginalized). A service addressed to all humanity.
