Bioethics and adolescent suicide

This book studies suicide and suicidal behaviour, one of the mental health problems that is becoming more and more important due to its growing incidence, especially in cases among children, adolescents and young people. To tackle it, as the author proposes, it is necessary to work effectively on its prevention, from various areas of action and in a multidisciplinary manner, developing specific lines of action, organizing awareness and training campaigns, designing action protocols and personal support, especially in the school environment. The school is a privileged platform to deploy a series of actions both preventive of behaviour and educational, because what is involved is to enhance the individual character of the adolescent through an education in values ​​from which to face difficulties and develop their life project.
