Description
This new edition of The Magisterium of the Church, the principal theological reference for the Church's dogmatic patrimony, covers the Church's doctrinal documents up to the end of the pontificate of Benedict XVI and the beginning of that of Pope Francis. The Magisterium of the Church or Enchiridion symbolorum, definitionum et declarationum de rebus fidei et morum collects the confessions of faith, conciliar decisions, synod decrees, and encyclicals of the ecclesiastical Magisterium. Generations of theologians have used this work as an instrument of study and a source of consultation for the texts that set forth the dogmatic truths and interpretations of the Church. This 45th edition of the Denzinger, updated by Professor Hünermann, includes the doctrinal documents of the Church up to the end of the pontificate of Benedict XVI and the beginning of Pope Francis until 2013. The work includes the translation into Spanish and the original texts, written mainly in Latin and Greek, but also in German, Spanish, French, English and Italian.
