Saint Martin, my brother, hear me. In my sorrows and tribulations, console me. In my dangers and adversities, succour me. In my weaknesses and temptations, protect me. In my illnesses and diseases, succour me. Give me health, if it suits me; And free me from any evil of soul or body. Kind and compassionate brother of mine, hear me. In the anguish of my poverty, comfort me. In the sorrows of my misfortune, save me. In my distresses and discouragements, support me. Now and always by your example, Teach me to take up my cross each day; And obtain for me divine grace And the glory of heaven.
