Walking years up

The book is born from the conviction that old age is not a fatal destiny with its cohort of limitations and leaks. It is also a task for freedom to give it shape and shine after preparing to welcome it. These "old years" are not given to us to complain about doctors, failed friendships, family disagreements, lineage that did not follow the dreamed path. Old age is a sad closed balance. "Teach me to calculate my years to acquire a sensible heart!" is a biblical request born from the insufficiency of dates and birth certificates to savor what the upper years offer. The authors of the book, bordering on eighty, live and propose another way of walking up years, in which, without ignoring the painful decline in health and other shortcomings, they open themselves to horizons in which the good is not left behind in some happy Arcadia of yesteryear, but is ahead, to be reached and built.
