Catechism of the Catholic Church – Compendium

The compendium which I now present to the Universal Church is a faithful and sure synthesis of the Catechism of the Catholic Church. It contains in a concise form all the essential and fundamental elements of the faith of the Church, in order to construct, as my predecessor had already intended, a kind of vademecum which enables people, believers and non-believers alike, to grasp with a general view the complete panorama of the Catholic faith. It faithfully reflects in its structure, content and language the Catechism of the Catholic Church, which will find in this synthesis a help and an encouragement to become better and more deeply known.
