The risen Christ is our hope

After a work dedicated to Recovering the Project of Jesus and a second entitled Announcing God as Good News today, José Antonio Pagola addresses a decisive theme: the Risen Christ is our hope, aimed directly at reviving the spirit of Christian communities and awakening hope, often quite dormant. It was the encounter with the Risen Jesus and his living presence in the first communities that made following him possible again. It is the Risen One who calls his disciples again, restores the relationship with them and defines the path they must follow. The possibility of following the living Jesus throughout history actually begins with the resurrection of Jesus. Today we follow Jesus guided, supported and encouraged by the Spirit of the Risen One, who lives in our hearts and acts in our communities.
