Feeding, giving water

The Church is there to bring everyone closer to that inexhaustible waterpot of unconditional mercy that is the heart of God. She “lives an authentic life when she professes and proclaims mercy and when she brings people closer to the sources of the Savior’s mercy.” Jesus wants each of us to be his instrument also to satisfy the hunger for God that is in our hearts, and to satisfy all the forms of thirst that anguish the most forgotten. If we learn to stop before the poor and the suffering, before the hungry and thirsty, we are on the way to the deepest joys, to inner harmony, to authentic spiritual peace.
