Dialogues for a New School in Chile

In Chile, many students fail to achieve the minimum skills established in the study programs, despite the fact that the issue has been a priority in the media and on the country's political agenda. In this context, two academics from the Pontifical Catholic University, one from the humanities and the other from engineering, decided to engage in dialogue to understand some of the problems facing school education. Dialogues for a new school in Chile: the Rise of Education raises more questions than answers, reflecting a common basis of agreements and evidence that point to the responsibility of the curriculum and didactics as a concrete way to begin the journey towards the much-desired quality of education.
