Description
Edith Stein (1891-1942), also known by her professional name in the Carmelite Teresian Order, Teresa Benedicta of the Cross, is one of the most notable figures in the history of the Church in Europe in the 20th century. Her greatest attractions have always been her conversion to Christianity after having abandoned the Jewish faith of her family, her solid philosophical proposal, her mystical experience and her testimony in the Auschwitz extermination camp during World War II. This work reviews the human and spiritual experience of this Carmelite nun. Her life and thought are today an example of love and courage to walk faithfully in the footsteps of Jesus Christ.
