Description
What do the authors of this book aim to do? To help us better understand the rich, sensitive alphabet of signs and symbols that come together in the celebration of the Mass. They wish to reveal what is transmitted by the various codes of communication that interact in the Eucharistic rite. It is a language that activates the spiritual senses of the faithful and places them on the via pulchritudinis, at the service of a profound experience of the sacrum of the Eucharist: a divine gift too great to tolerate devaluations. Félix María Arocena is a priest incardinated in the prelature of Opus Dei, professor of liturgical theology at the Faculty of Theology of the University of Navarra and visiting professor at the San Dámaso ecclesiastical university. At the BAC he has published The hymns of tradition and Liturgical texts for Eucharistic adoration. Alberto Portolés is a priest incardinated in the prelature of Opus Dei, and has done pastoral work in Valencia, Alicante, Vigo and Madrid. He is the director of the Department of Liturgical and Sacramental Theology of the Studium Generale of Opus Dei in Spain. At the BAC he has published, as co-author, Liturgical Texts for Eucharistic Adoration.
