Principle 2: All children should enjoy special protection and opportunities for development, always in conditions of freedom. The King and Queen of Togramia have had a child, the only son who will one day inherit the kingdom. Unfortunately, the wisest ones predict that his health will be very poor and recommend that he be protected from anything, no matter how insignificant it may seem. The King and Queen follow this advice and order the doors of the palace to be closed and all surfaces to be covered with wool and cotton fabrics. Like all children, the prince is curious and will find a way to discover the world. This is included in the Declaration of the Rights of the Child, adopted by the United Nations General Assembly in resolution 1386 (XVI) of 20 November 1959.
