The healing power of love

Being a disciple of Jesus means taking the time to sit at the feet of the Master and learn from him everything he has to transmit and teach us. “God is love” (1 Jn 4:16) is the first and fundamental teaching that we must incorporate into all areas of our lives. God has the power to heal the wounds that prevent us from loving healthily and the gentleness to seal the cracks through which the love we receive from him escapes. Only by becoming aware of our need to receive his love and opening ourselves to that powerful divine presence and action, will we be able to achieve a full life and be missionaries of God’s love. “May the Holy Trinity guide us on this journey of developing the virtue of charity, so that we may experience that, living in the key of a love that is constantly expanding, we will increasingly feel the happiness of being alive.”
