Little Flowers of Saint Francis of Assisi

The Little Flowers speak to us, the people of today, who resist an impersonal, numerical experience. We are prisoners of our own scientific and technological achievements, yearning for that climate of simplicity and even naiveté where science, power, and material wealth are "things of this world" at the service of the only necessary and absolute thing: knowing, loving, and serving God, and then enjoying Him in Eternal Life.

Our intention, in creating this popular version, is simply to offer our brothers, and especially the young people of our country, the opportunity to delve into the Franciscan spirituality that we find in the Little Flowers as in its original source, through the common language and literary style.
