Liturgical scripts for various circumstances

The scripts we offer cover a wide range of “diverse circumstances”. It is essential to “take into account” the presentation and the liturgical-pastoral comments offered in liturgical scripts for the Holy Mass - ABC cycles. They remain fully valid and are part of the necessary training that the guide and the entire liturgical animation team must acquire. In these cycles, the “fixed” feasts of the Lord and the Blessed Virgin have been completed, as well as the following solemnities and feasts: -Sacred Heart of Jesus -All Saints -Commemoration of the faithful departed -Dedication of the Lateran Basilica -Saint Peter and Saint Paul -Saint Joseph, husband of the Virgin Mary -Saint John the Baptist -Ash Wednesday -Our Lady of Luján However, a “new occasion” will always arise that calls for a script. We are sure that, with a little practice, every pastoral agent can prepare a fruitful script. For this purpose, very precise guidelines can be found in Appendix I. We also offer a general script for Masses for the Blessed Virgin, and another for Masses for Saints. It is not a question of reproducing a literary “Jewel” – not even a liturgical one – but of being faithful to the biblical and liturgical texts, and to the Christian meaning of the feast or event being celebrated. Our proposal, within its obligatory limitations, responds to the guidelines of sailing out to sea. It is emphasized that the pastoral action of the Church is nourished by the source of divine life and reaches its fullest and most beautiful expression in the liturgy.
