Description
Saint Maria Faustina Kowalska, born on August 25, 1905 and died after many years of suffering on October 5, 1938, was canonized by Pope John Paul II in April 2000. This Polish nun received from Jesus the mission of making known the devotion to Divine Mercy through the icon of the Merciful Christ that she herself had painted. In this work, Maria Winowska tries to outline the most important themes of the life of Sister Faustina, and proposes the means to transmit her message in today's world.
