Mary, disciple of Jesus in the New Testament

To speak of discipleship implies speaking of Mary, since she is the Mother of the Church and the perfect disciple of Jesus. The author focuses on the theme of discipleship, but from the figure of Mary, for which he listens to the passages of the New Testament that speak of her and her role in the history of Salvation. These texts include the call of Mary by God, her journey with Jesus, her relationship with Him in her childhood and during her public life, and her relationship with the disciples, aspects that allow us to configure the essential characteristics of the discipleship of the Mother of God, and to answer some fundamental questions: Can the title of disciple be properly applied to the Mother of Jesus? Are the elements that identify the disciples of the Lord discovered in her? In what sense can she be considered the first and perfect disciple?
