Nobody teaches us how to be parents

Nobody teaches us to be parents is a statement that has been made many times and felt by those of us who are immersed in this role. It undoubtedly reflects the confusion, fear and insecurity that often invades us when we perform our role. This is the phrase that the author of the book uses and from which she organizes a work proposal for all those parents interested in efficiently and happily fulfilling this task. The text is structured in two parts. The first aims to make us reflect on those basic general abilities and skills that we must strive to achieve in order to face the education of our children. The second poses, by age, a set of problems that arise in the daily life of our family and to which we are forced to find solutions, without knowing much about whether we are acting correctly or wrongly. In this sense, the book invites us on the one hand to reflection, which constitutes a necessary challenge for all, and, on the other, to the application of a practical manual when the specific problem arises.
