Saint Rose rose above Lima as the creation and tribute of a people to its God, as a symbol of the virtue that it must practice. She rose as the representative of its feelings and as the hope of reaching heaven. The more than 500 years that have passed have not altered her memory because it lives in fullness through the tribute of external worship, and today more than yesterday, it continues to venerate the places where she walked.
