Theology of the Couple and the Family

A new reflection on the married couple and the family raises the need to revise traditional language; it demands that we opt for the method of the Second Vatican Council and asks for a new starting point: love, sexuality and the sacred mentality. The phenomenon of change, of which the Second Vatican Council spoke, has significantly affected the life of couples and families; this, the same council affirms, "urges new analyses and new syntheses" (GS5). This book responds to this need and considers the problems of married couples and future families from a contemporary perspective.
