Prayer to Saint Teresa of the Andes
Teresa of the Andes, who, guided by Mary, became a young woman in love with Jesus Christ. You are a model of holiness and a path to perfection for the Church.
You knew how to laugh, love, play and serve.
You were strong enough to bear the pain and generous enough to love.
You knew how to contemplate God in the simple things of life.
Show us the Father's love to live friendship with joy and tenderness in the family.
Help the weak and the sad so that the Spirit may encourage them in hope.
Intercede for us and ask for love and peace for Chile.
Teresa of the Andes, beloved daughter of the Chilean Church, nun of Carmel, friend of young people, servant of the poor, pray for us every day.
