Taking some elements scattered in my books, I have put together a program of life. In reality, we are faced with an ideal. And the ideal is like a light on a high peak. Before that lofty light, two attitudes can be taken: a negative one, seeing that the light is so high and that I, a Christian, fly so low to the ground… And a positive one, thinking that this ideal will be the light of the path that will allow us to see at every moment if we proceed according to the spirit of the Lord or according to our own instincts.” With these words, Ignacio Larrañaga begins this book written several years ago for the use of the Guides of the Prayer and Life Workshops. Since then, the material included here has been a document of identity, a source of inspiration and a guiding principle for the Guides of the entire world; in short, his book of spirituality. Following the suggestions of those first readers, Larrañaga today delivers this work to the general public. It has an eminently practical character.
