Your word is my strength – Reflections for the Sundays of Cycle B

God calls us to participate in his life from our baptism. His Word is the light that guides us in our Christian journey. But the path is arduous and sometimes we can feel discouraged. We must listen to the voice of God again to find in his Word the strength that sustains us until we come to share his joy. These reflections serve to strengthen us in the Word, whether we read it personally or in community, or whether we seek to prepare ourselves to share that word in the church. The word of the cross is foolishness to those who are going to perdition, but to those who are going to salvation, for us, it is the power of God (1 Cor 1:18).
